The Boulder Panthers Basketball Club is a program for youth in the Boulder area. It offers Gold Crown basketball teams for both boys and girls, as well as training programs. The club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the development of youth through the sport of basketball. The program is run in conjunction with the goals of the Boulder High School athletics program.

Our philosophy centers on offering players opportunities to compete and enjoy the game of basketball. We are committed to develop players through hard work, practice, and good ethics. Our Boulder coaches will emphasize individual motor skill development (no other program does this), individual Basketball skill development and teaching team fundamentals. We are a program that will
TEACH you the BASICS, help you to IMPROVE, and MASTER the skills learned while having FUN learning. We will require that all our players in our programs give 100% effort defensively , and expect from them to compete at the highest possible level.

Mat Smith, Johnoy Albert, Ming Sung, Nathan Duran, Steve Gansfield, Gene Kelly, Pete Burridge, Conrad McCArthy. If interested in coaching, please contact Luis at email above.

    The Season:

After tryouts, each coach will determine the exact events in which they will participate. The goal is to provide 2 tournaments in the fall and play in the Northern League (Power To Play Sports) Fall League. This provides 18 games from October-December 13th (included in cost).

The 2012-2013 season will be determined by each team. The goal is to play in either the Gold Crown or Northern Sports Leagues based on the individual needs and goals of each team and their respective families.

It is my goal to provide your sons and daughters the best coaching available in the Boulder area and field the most competitive teams possible. All our coaches philosophy will be centered around a positive environment for the players that encompasses both individual and team growth and development, both on and off the court.

Our 8th grade level coaches will not be parents thanks to the positive feedback received from our parents last year. This year we will continue to have this policy at the higher grade level and try to incorporate this policy in the lower grades when feasible. This year we will have a closer relationship with our coaches to minimize some of the problems we encountered and heard from you parents through your feedback to me last year.

Cost: Will Include New Style Uniforms for This Year, will pay for the Winter and Fall league fees, tournament entries, league entries, facility rentals, insurance, and rental time. $250.00 Commitment Deposit due at the Selection Notification
